MUSIC NEWS: INTERVALS and Polyphia announce tour supports

If you're like us, your social media has most likely been heaving with line-up announcements this week: from the updated Unify line-up to the insane Good Things festival announcement, it's a pretty sweet time for your ears (and perhaps a perilous time for your wallet). But one piece of news that is absolute music to anyone into the world of instrumental, prog and/or djent is the announcement this week of the brutally talented supports jumping on board for the upcoming INTERVALS and Polyphia shows in September.

--

From September 21 to 24 in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, Australian promoters Destroy All Lines are bringing INTERVALS (aka Aaron Marshall) and POLYPHIA to Australia to destroy minds and melt faces! Today, the already intensely progressive and futuristic guitar heavy lineups are now packed with extra guitar goodness, with the local supports being announced. Progsters Voyager joining the bill in Perth at Amplifier, fresh back from their stint in Europe, destroying the stage at Bloodstock. Sydney's show at Bald Faced Stag sees Guitar Maestro James Norbert Ivanyi open proceedings, Melbourne gets I Built The Sky on the back of their recent hugely succesful single and video releases, and Brisbane gets the infinitely danceable and quirky-yet-head-turning He Danced Ivy at The Brightside. Last in Australia alongside Plini in 2016, INTERVALS (aka Aaron Marshall) is returning to Australian shores for their first headline tour. Founded in 2011, Intervals is a progressive and forward thinking staple in modern instrumental music with roots firmly planted in all things traditional, & an open eye on the future. Polyphia's first voyage to Australian shores comes on the back of the announcement of their brand new album 'New Levels New Devils', which will see its release on 12th October 2018. The band – whose average age is just barely 21 – has toured and shared stages with the likes of Animals As Leaders, Periphery, Between The Buried and Me, The Contortionist and more. Tickets for this once in a life time experience are on sale now at www.tickets.destroyalllines.com.
