No matter where you stand on the Queensland vs. New South Wales State of Origin debate, one thing is entirely certain: the pre-match entertainment can make or break the total State Of Origin experience as much as a dodgy ref call. But regardless of the outcome for Game Two of the 2022 State of Origin on Sunday 26 June, fans at Perth's Optus Stadium will be grinning like winners on the day when ARIA-winning Aussie rockers Grinspoon take to the stage to headline the pre-match festivities.

Currently on the road also headlining sold-out festivals across the country, Grinspoon will grace Perth's Optus Stadium on Sunday 26 June, whipping the crowd into an adequate frenzy as sport's greatest rivalry returns to WA for the first time since 2019. With New South Wales undoubtedly out for blood after their tight loss in Sydney last week, the neutral territory in Perth offers a chance for redemption for the Blues - as well as a possible series clincher for the Maroons come Sunday week.

Of the upcoming appearance for Grinspoon, frontman Phil Jamieson says: "Shows don't come much bigger than State of Origin, and as four boys who grew up in Lismore NSW, it's one that means a lot to us. We can't wait to get out there at Optus Stadium and set the stage for an awesome game of footy".

For those in Perth on the day, tickets for Origin Two are selling fast, seats are available now from nrl.com/tickets.
